Beets are a dietary source of nitrates, which increase Nitric Oxide (NO) production. Cherries, also rich in nitrates, contain potent antioxidants to protect against cell damage caused by free radicals. This low glycemic smoothie can be consumed as part of a workout regimen or throughout the day as a snack.
Grate the beet and add to a high-powered blender. In sequence, add the remaining ingredients to the blender: water, cherries and NOx Synergy powder. Blend and enjoy!
